Zagal becomes synonymous with youth, much like the first wine of the vineyard; fresh, bold, and full of promise.
Background
A new young and approachable wine from La Mancha, created to meet the growing demand for fruit-forward, fresh and easy-drinking wines with little oak influence. Designed as the younger sibling of Finca Antigua, with broad appeal and strong rotation in bars and restaurants.
Brief
Our task was to create the product name, packaging and visual identity, positioning it as the best young/roble wine from La Mancha, backed by the expertise of Finca Antigua.
Solution
Inspired by the Spanish zagal, we created a distinctive brand universe around a young shepherd and his loyal sheepdog. A bold yellow color palette, striking illustration and a bespoke typography bring character, authenticity and youthful energy to a wine that is elegant, approachable and full of life.
