Spicebit
Muesli bars? Sweet, sticky and predictable. SpiceBit? Savoury, salty, filling – and absolutely new. Branded as “The Meal in Your Pocket”, this organic bar rewrites the rules.
Background
SpiceBit is the first savoury organic snack bar in the DACH region. The base: gluten-free oats, nuts, quinoa, seasoned with spice blends from around the globe. Vegan, high in fibre, no added sugar. The goal: offer a real alternative to sweet bars and greasy chips.
Brief
Build the brand and go-to-market strategy for a product that challenges consumer habit: a bar that’s not sweet but savoury. Our task was to design the packaging and communications to manage taste expectations, spark curiosity and inspire trust.
Solution
A design that instantly signals “savoury”. Every element – from iconography to colour palette – breaks the default “snack = sweet” association. The result: rapid retailer adoption and nationwide listings at Bio Company, Alnatura and selected grocery chains.

The real challenge? People expect sweetness from a bar. We created a brand identity that flips that expectation before the first bite.

Four flavours,
four journeys
Italy, India, Morocco, the Alps – each variety became its own culinary trip. The design breaks from the “fitness bar” look, positioning SpiceBit as a savoury world trip in pocket form.

Web, Social & E-Commerce
From day one, SpiceBit had to deliver digitally. We created a website that stages the product, story, and USP with clarity – directly linked to other channels. The brand experience is equally strong in the feed, in the shop and on the shelf.
